Officers found 32 year old Charles Rogers of Corbin, with gunshot wounds. He was taken to UK Hospital for treatment. Bruce Aldridge of Tennessee was also injured. The investigation at the scene indicated the shooting stemmed from a dispute between Rogers and another man. The other man involved in the fight ran off before detuties arrived. This week detectives charged 45 year old Zachary Lee Thompson of Corbin with assault, wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
