South Carolina Man Arrested In Corbin In Stolen Vehicle

A South Carolina man, who is behind bars in Whitley County after being caught in a vehicle that had been reported stolen, told Corbin police that he was unaware he was in Kentucky and thought he was in North Carolina. Officers charged 21 year old Joshua T. Henderson with receiving stolen property, public intoxication, operating on a suspended license and theft of a vehicle registration plate. He was arrested behind the Best Western Inn after police received a report that he was allegedly approaching patrons and staff attempting to sell an Xbox system and a Taser for $5. When police arrived at the scene, they found Henderson sitting in the driver's seat of the stolen vehicle with the keys in the ignition. Henderson also had an empty Oxycodone bottle in the vehicle that had been filled two days earlier. He was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
