Knox County Police Arrest Escapee And Find Drugs

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says deputies received information that an escapee from the Bluegrass Career Development Center in Madison County was at a residence on Trent Hill in Girdler. When officers arrived at the home, they saw someone looking out of a window. They could also here someone moving around inside. After several minutes knocking they attempted to open the front door. They encountered a person inside pushing against the door trying to keep police out. Deputies finally got in and found the escapee, 24 year old Jeremy Gregory, and took him into custody. They also arrested 54 year old Joanne Gregory for hindering prosecution or apprehension. While they were there, deputies found two used syringes and a case containing several baggies of suspected methamphetamine. Both were also charged with drug offenses. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
