North Laurel High School has its next football coach. NLHS Athletics announced Steven Nelson as the Jaguars’ next head football coach Friday afternoon. Nelson replaces Jason Chappell who served as head coach for two seasons. Nelson comes in with seven years of coaching experience under his belt, having previously coached at Rockcastle County as the Offensive Coordinator. North Laurel will hold a meet and greet for Coach Nelson at a later date for the players, parents and community. The Jags ended last football season 8-5 overall.
