The London Police Department says the London-Laurel County 911 Center received a call from a woman saying that her husband had been shot and was possibly deceased. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found Manuel Lomeli Jr., dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The Laurel County Major Crimes Task Force was called in and determined that the caller, 59-year-old Yolanda Lomeli, had shot her husband. Yolanda was arrested without incident and charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. She was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center. The investigation is ongoing.
