Laurel County Sheriff John Root says deputies are investigating a theft at a business in southern Laurel County Sunday evening. Investigators say the suspect took $1600 from the cash register. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Deputy Zach Allen at the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office at 606-864-6600.
