Two Ohio Men Arrested in Laurel County Road Rage Incident

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says a father and son from Ohio were arrested after an apparent road rage incident. Deputy Nate Bishop was on Adams Road investigating an unrelated crash when he overheard yelling and ran toward the commotion. The deputy saw 26-year-old Jacob Harness assault a truck driver, while his father, 53-year-old James Harness, reportedly fired several shots. James was charged with first degree wanton endangerment and second degree disorderly conduct. Jacob is charged with fourth degree assault. Officials say the truck driver was not seriously hurt from the assault. James and Jacob were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
