London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that an investigation by their Special Investigation Drug Interdiction Unit resulted in a drug trafficking arrest. 52-year-old Cleve Smith, of Barbourville, was taken into custody after officers found meth and a handgun on him. Investigators were alerted to the drugs by a K9 unit. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
