Clay County Man Receives Wendell Thomas Award

A Clay County man recently received an award which recognizes a person’s endeavors to promote the cause of African Americans in higher education. Council on Postsecondary Education President Dr. Aaron Thompson received the Wendell Thomas Award from the Kentucky Association of Blacks in Higher Education (KABHE). The award is named after Thomas, who was a black education advocate. The award also recognizes the commitment to promoting equal opportunity.
