Corbin Police Arrest Two on Meth Charges

The Corbin Police Department says a two-month investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine has led to the arrest of two men. Officers executed a search warrant at a home on Ott Road in the Moore Hill area of Corbin. During the search, a quantity of methamphetamine and money was seized. Police took 59-year-old Billy Jones into custody and charged him with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, more than two grams (second offense). 67-year-old Frederick Owens was served with a warrant for parole violation on manufacturing methamphetamine charges. Jones and Owens were both lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
