Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Nate Bishop was called out to Pine Top Road where a man was reportedly out of control. When deputies arrived they were told 34-year-old Nicholas Hubbard had been tearing up the home and making threats. Police say Hubbard then ran out of the house. Police say they had to tase him to get him into custody. As Hubbard was being arrested, he spit at officers. Hubbard was charged with third degree fleeing police, resisting arrest, second degree disorderly conduct and third degree assaulting an officer. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
