A judge sentenced a man to one decade in prison for the death of LeeAnna Brumley. Gerald Hendricks was originally charged in Pulaski County with murder and tampering with evidence, but he pleaded guilty to manslaughter, tampering with evidence and four counts of kidnapping earlier this week. Brumley disappeared in May 2019. Her remains were found six months later. Police said she had been shot, hit in the head with a hatchet and set on fire. Another suspect, Danelle Powell, took a plea deal in 2022 for the lesser charge of second-degree manslaughter. She reportedly told police that she was forced to kill Brumley. Powell is expected to be back in court in January.
