Kentucky State Police say an Ohio man has been arrested in Laurel County following a police chase on I-75. Troopers say the pursuit began in Richmond near exit 87 when they noticed a car heading southbound with no registration plate. Troopers tried to pull the car over, but the driver, later identified as 42-year-old Samuel Young, did not stop and waved a gun outside of the car. Young finally stopped at mile marker 39 between the two London exits. Young was arrested and charged with running from police, wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and several other traffic violations. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
