Veteran’s Parade Brings Out the Community in London

The community gathered in London Saturday for the the Veterans Day Celebration. The event included special singing from Daniel Carmack, a 21-gun salute and several speeches honoring veterans for their service and sacrifice. Laurel County Judge-Executive David Westerfield coordinated the event, along with the London DAV Chapter 66. A veteran’s parade followed beginning at Carnaby Square, proceeding through town and ending up at Wildcat Harley-Davidson, where a meal was served for all those in attendance. Judge Westerfield thanked everyone who came out and especially the veterans and their families.
