Woman Arrested After Trying to Enter Laurel County Judicial Center with Meth Pipe

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says a woman was arrested at the Laurel County Judicial Center security checkpoint after Court Security Officer Derek Mills found a woman in possession of a pipe and straw with meth residue as she entered the courthouse. Deputies Zach Allen and Byron Grimes took 25-year-old Kristen Bowman of East Bernstadt into custody. Bowman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication – controlled substances. She was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
