Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Tommy Houston and Deputy Allen Turner were called out to a home where a trespasser was refusing to leave. Police arrived to find 36-year-old Eddie Wayne Parsley II, of London, in the home, which was not his residence. Deputies found that Parsley had broken a window and entered the home, and that he had trespassed there on another occasion. During the investigation deputies noticed pry marks on the back door. Parsley was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
