Laurel County Crash Leads to Stolen Vehicle and Drug Charges

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Bobby Roberts was dispatched to a single vehicle crash off Barbourville Road. During the investigation, it was learned that the vehicle involved in the crash, a black Nissan Altima, was a reported stolen vehicle. The driver, 52-year-old Timothy Miller, of Flat Lick, was found to be in possession of suspected meth and was determined to be under the influence. Miller was arrested and charged with DUI, receiving stolen property, drug possession and driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center. Also assisting were: London Police Officer Andrew Lawson, Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad, and Campground Fire and Rescue.
