Rep. Hal Rogers has announced his new chief of staff. Karen Kelly, a Pike County native, is named to the position. Congressman Rogers said it is incredibly valuable to have a Kentuckian leading his legislative operations in Washington. Kelly previously served as a field representative for Rogers in Eastern Kentucky. Kelly helped Rogers establish Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR) and served as the founding CEO of Operation UNITE.
