Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Cyruss McVey was dispatched to a home off Robert E Cox Road where someone was reportedly terrorizing the neighborhood. During the investigation, deputies determined the allegations were unfounded. Deputies also found that 53-year-old Marion Roaden, of Corbin, had given them false identifying information. Roaden was also found to be wanted on two outstanding warrants. Roaden was arrested and in addition to the warrants, charged with giving officers false identifying information and falsely reporting an incident. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
