Kentucky State Police Troopers have made an arrest in a Knox County murder case. Police took Eric Hibbard into custody and charged him with murder following a stabbing incident that resulted in the death Eric’s step father, Norman McCreary. Investigators say a physical altercation happened between McCreary and Hibbard at McCreary’s home in Gray. Hibbard reportedly stabbed McCreary several times in the neck and torso. McCreary was pronounced dead by the Knox County Coroner’s Office. Court records show McCreary had an EPO against Hibbard. McCreary’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Hibbard was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
