Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Daniel Reed and Deputy Nate Bishop were called out to a home off Little Arthur Ridge Road where a man was reportedly beating on the front door and trying to pry open a window. The home was occupied by a woman. Witnesses also said the man also tried to break into multiple nearby cars. Deputies arrived to find 62-year-old Arlo Harris, of East Bernstadt sitting on the porch of the home. Harris was arrested and charged with attempted burglary, criminal trespassing and menacing. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
