Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Detective Tommy Houston and Capt. Richard Dalrymple are conducting an investigation after they received reports of shots fired. Deputies were dispatched to a business parking lot off of US-25 just north of London around 10:36 a.m. on Sunday. When investigators arrived on scene they learned that one man shot two rounds at another. The two are reportedly cousins. Investigators said the rounds went through the windows of a car that was in the parking lot before they struck a Jeep passing by on US-25. No injuries were reported. The two men left the scene before investigators arrived. Investigators collected evidence and interviewed witnesses on the scene.
