Tuesday, November 5th is Election Day. Polls are open from 6am to 6pm. Secretary of State Michael Adams said the three days of early voting went smoothly in the commonwealth. Adams said almost 800,000 Kentuckians cast their ballots ahead of the General Election. He said following the election, he predicts more than 60 percent of registered voters in the bluegrass will have voted. Laurel County Clerk Tony Brown said in early voting there were 8,218 total ballots cast so far in the county. 16.71% of Laurel County has voted so far in the November 5th Election. The presidential election takes center stage, as well as a handful of races for representative, a question about medicinal cannabis, two constitutional questions, school board member election and the city council race.
