Baptist Health Corbin has announced Angelia Foster as its next president. The move will be effective on October 14. Foster replaces Matt Bailey, who has been serving the position under an interim basis and will stay on with the hospital until November 1. Prior to being announced as the next president for Baptist Health Corbin, Foster was president of Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam in Dodge County, Wisconsin. Patrick Falvey, Baptist Health chief operating officer, said Foster has a deep appreciation for the challenges facing rural hospitals, such as Baptist Health Corbin, and the communities it serves. Foster said she looks forward to meeting the staff, providers and volunteers at Baptist Health Corbin, and learning about the healthcare needs of the community.
