Kentucky passed a law legalizing the use and distribution of medical cannabis in the Commonwealth. The law will go into effect on January 1 of 2025. With the new law counties and cities are able to file a resolution and add cannabis business operations to the ballot this November. In Clay County and Manchester, voters must decide if they want cannabis businesses operating in their area. Clay County Clerk Beverly Craft said the ballot will include a yes or no question for voters to answer.
