Corbin Police Department Debuts Cruiser for Autism Awareness

The Corbin Police Department debuted a new design for one of their cruisers. The cruiser design is a tribute to autism awareness. The department says officers are trained to recognize and react to persons on the autism spectrum differently than a person who is “neurotypical” and encourage everyone to educate themselves about autism and how this affects a person’s communication and social interactions. Police say the Tint Shop of Corbin donated the vinyl and installed it.
