Corbin Police Pursuit Ends With Arrest of Keavy Man

The Corbin Police Department says officers arrested a man after he allegedly made a threat against a person at a convenience store. Officers spotted the man, 33-year-old Daniel Sneed, of Keavy, driving on 25E and tried to pull him over. Police say Sneed took off while waiving a gun inside the vehicle. The pursuit continued through Knox County until he finally stopped and surrendered. Police say the driver threw the gun out the window during the pursuit. Kentucky State Police assisted with recovering the gun. Sneed was charged with fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence and other traffic-related charges.
