Knox County Man Arrested After Shooting Incident

Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith says Deputy Lt. Sam Mullins responded to a report of gunfire and a woman screaming at a home in Gray. During the investigation, Lt. Mullins learned that 33-year-old Cody Hutton allegedly fired a handgun at the home occupied by a man, woman and a 1-year-old child. Hutton then reportedly fled on foot. Deputies found Hutton on KY 830 and took him into custody. KSP Trooper Kelly Farris assisted in the arrest. Hutton was charged with three counts of wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
