Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith reports a woman has been arrested after a theft at the Old Poplar Creek Baptist Church’s Ministries. Deputies took 48-year-old Sandra Knuckles Lambdin into custody after an investigation of a stolen package from the building on KY-11 in the Poplar Creek area. Officials said Lambdin was also wanted on charges in Whitley County. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
