Laurel County 911 Call Leads To Meth Arrest

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Daniel Reed and Deputy Justin Lewis were called out to a home off Todd Road where there was a 911 hang-up call. The dispatch center told deputies there had been prior complaints at that address. Deputies arrived to find 46-year-old Brandon Thompson outside and learned that there had been a disagreement between Thompson and another individual who had left the scene. During the investigation Thompson was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
