Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Sgt. Brett Reeves and Deputy Noah Ritchie recovered a stolen truck and arrested four people. The investigation led deputies to Philpot Road where they found the truck, which had been reported stolen the day before off Riverbend Road. As deputies pulled onto the property where the stolen vehicle was, a man, later identified as 45-year-old Terry Browning, turned and fled the scene. Browning was caught, disarmed and taken into custody. Three others, 36-year-old Margie Bowling, 40-year-old Bridgette Murray and 45-year-old Steven Couch, were also arrested.

• Margie Bowling age 36 of Reams Ln., London charged with receiving stolen property $1000 or more but under $10,000.
• Bridgette Murray age 40 of Philpot Rd., London charged on 4 Laurel District Court bench warrants of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding child support. A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding charges of contempt of court and theft by failure to make required disposition of property $500 or more but under $1000.
• Steven Couch age 45 of Philpot Rd., London charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding child support. A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of criminal mischief – second-degree.
All four were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
