London Man Arrested for Criminal Trespassing, Public Intoxication and Others

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Zach Allen, K-9/Sgt. Gary Mehler and Deputy Daniel Reed were called out to a home off West Laurel Road where a man was reportedly banging on the door demanding to be let inside. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 28-year-old Franklin Keeling of London in the front yard and determined he was under the influence. As he was being arrested, Keeling tried to pull away and flee, but was taken into custody. Keeling was wanted on two outstanding warrants. In addition to those warrants, he was charged with criminal trespassing, public intoxication – controlled substances, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and menacing. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
