London City Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting Officer James Williams responded to a fatal collision on South Main Street involving a motorcycle and a car. Through a preliminary investigation, it was found that 84-year-old Lowell Carter, of London, was operating a 2020 Can-Am Ryker motorcycle at the time of the collision. Carter was treated on the scene and transported to the CHI St. Joseph – London where he would later succumb to his injuries. The collision continues to be investigated by Capt. Ryan Jackson and Officer Hobie Daugherty of the London-Laurel Reconstruction Team.
