London Motorcyclist Clocked at Over 100 mph Arrested after Police Chase

The London Police Department is reporting Officer Mikey Ashurst, while on routine patrol, clocked a motorcycle speeding at over 100 mph. When Officer Ashurst attemped to pull over the rider, later identified as 20-year-old Treston Webb, of London, he continued at a high rate of speed through Jackson County and on into Owlsey County. Webb eventually ran off the road where he was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Officer Ashurst was assisted on scene by Sgt. Wade Mitchell, Corporal Ben Webb and Officer Coty Arnold. The London Police Department was also assisted on scene by the Kentucky State Police and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Webb was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
