The London Police Department has announced this year’s National Night Out event will be August 6th at the Wellness Park behind the Laurel County Public Library from 6:00-8:00 pm! Public Information Officer Hobie Daugherty says this is a free national event hosted by local police agencies across the nation to get the community together and promote a positive relationship between the Police and their community. He said they’re excited to have another opportunity to meet with citizens and talk with them in a relaxed setting. Families are encouraged to bring the kids out to meet representatives from the London Police Department, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, London City Fire Department, London – Laurel Rescue Squad, Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County, Kentucky State Police, PHI Air Medical London, AirEvac and more.
