The London Police Department and Kentucky State Police made an arrest following a joint arson investigation. Last month, fire crews were called out to a residential structure fire on North Mill Street. Upon arrival, Detectives Elbert Riley and Captain Ryan Jackson were informed by the London City Fire Department that the fire appeared to be intentionally set. Trooper Steve Walker, an investigator with the Kentucky State Police, was called in to investigate the possible nature of the fire. The collaborative efforts from both agencies led to the arrest Brandon Dixon, of London. Dixon was charged with arson in the 2nd degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
