Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Zach Allen, while on patrol on I-75, pulled over a vehicle after noticing it had expired plates. During the stop, the driver, 27-year-old Kristian Fitzgerald of Pleasureville, KY, was wanted on five outstanding warrants out of Henry and Shelby counties. He was also driving on a DUI suspended license. Fitzgerald was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
