Gov. Andy Beshear has announced registration is open for the Broadband Grants Management Portal. Registering through the portal is the first step to apply for funds from the $1.1 billion allocation. Internet service providers, local government and nonprofits are all eligible. Step two includes the pre-qualification phase which will open Aug. 14 and closes Sept. 13.
