SEVERE WEATHER: Flooding in London

Several area roads closed Saturday afternoon due to flooding.

London, KY (Forcht Broadcasting) – Several area roads were flooded Saturday afternoon resulting in road closures.

London Mayor Randall Weddle posted to Facebook updating the road conditions. Later posting that East 4th Street in front of Flowers Bakery is Closed.
London-Laurel Rescue Squad posted to Facebook Saturday afternoon saying they were responding to multiple rescues.
Mayor Randall Weddle also posting pictures from flooding in the Levi Jackson area.

A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 6pm Saturday, Flood Warning remains in effect until 9:30pm Saturday and a Flood Watch is in effect until 10pm Sunday.
