Somerset Mayor Alan Keck is taking action on efforts to regulate abuse and fraud in the recovery system. Keck called on the Kentucky cabinet for health and family services to reinstate prior authorization for recovery services billing method. A news release from Keck’s office says the checks and balances measure was suspended during the pandemic and never returned.
