The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office says they’re searching for a suspect following a robbery. On Wednesday, at approximately 3 p.m., three people were robbed in the parking lot of the now-closed Granny’s Country Store on Hwy 26. The suspect reportedly pulled a gun on the victims and took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as being ”a white male, approximately 6′0 tall, slim build, with dark shoulder length hair and a moderate sized beard.” He was reportedly wearing a black T-shirt and was on foot for the entire altercation. He ran away toward Hwy 511. Investigators are asking people who live near the incident to review their security cameras from 2-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
